WHEN DID YOU START KITEBOARDING AND WHY: About 6 years ago I saw a couple of guys kiting at Waihi.  It looked like a real adrenalin fix.  I also liked the show off factor!

COMPETITIVE HIGHLIGHTS: Competition Virgin

GOALS AND AMBITIONS:  Since the recent birth of my son, the biggest goal has been to get more time on the water.  I would like to carry on exploring new kiting destinations with the family.  Also keeping up with the younger guys keeps me pretty driven.

DREAM SESSION (WHO IS THERE): There would be a big bunch of friendly kiters (the more the merrier), sailing a breeze a couple of knots more than comfortable.  The best fun happens when you are just outside your comfort zone.

1)      Don't upsize your meal...you probably don't need it!

2)      Be a friendly, conscientious kiter...you may need someone elses help one day.
