WHEN DID YOU START KITEBOARDING, AND WHY?
In 2002 i saw kiteboarding on tv and was blown away, but i was too young to afford the gear then. a year on and a mate of mine bought a kite(wipika 12m), we took it to a park and set it up with no idea, we managed to get it flying and started jumping in with in 10mins and that was it i was hooked.

FAVOURITE PLACE'S TO BE A KITER?

Mt maunganui, wind can blow any direction and we have somewhere to ride, on the right day it can be amazing, pilot bay, tay street, maketu, fergy park all have their moments, but a trip to raglan is always good

 

DREAM SESSION (WHO'S THERE?)

All my mates on 15m lines in 40knots, popping tricks above our kites and doing mad loops, with a huge sound system on the beach blasting the tunes.

Be careful Kiteboaring has serious withdrawal symptoms, theres no cure apart from more wind! See you on the water.
