WHEN DID YOU START KITEBOARDING, AND WHY?
Dad and some other locals were getting into it and it looked like fun so I was keen as to give it a go. I didn't go out a lot at the start and it took me ages to progress, but around 2004/05 I became much more hooked on the sport.

The local Fergusson Park, known for its gusty and un-predictable winds.
New Caledonia, epic place to ride; warm, windy, flat water & waves....Paradise
Australia - warm and windy, if no wind there's surf!
Raglan - sick sea breezes in the summer and out going tide gets you going when its light.

 

DREAM SESSION (WHO'S THERE?)
All the AKC crew out and some top riders to show us up! Flat water with some obstacles to hit, kickers and sliders to keep everyone satisfied...OR...right hand reef break with perfect cross-off shore wind for some down the line smacks!
