FOIL DRIVE Assist Plus

The Assist Plus is just as the name suggests, everything the foiling world has come to love about the original Assist, PLUS a little bit more! It's the performance model with all the bells and whistles. More power, more torque, greater efficiency, longer run times, and new user-selectable functions.

With the increased thrust and efficiency along with a 37% larger battery, the Assist Plus is perfect for heavier riders needing more power, learners, or those wanting longer sessions. The Assist Plus can be used for flatwater foiling, however, please see the additional info below for more on this!

Foil Drive Assist or Assit Plus is not designed to be used on a Prone or Tow style, low volume Foil Boards. Due to the wireless connection, the box must remain above the waterline during usage. The Foil Drive Assist is not a flatwater efoil, but a tool providing more power/assistance, as the name suggests!

WING FOILING
On low wind days, Foil Drive™ provides the power to get on foil. Attach the controller to your wing, or use the included wrist lanyard, then wing as usual with with a high motor position, no worries getting back to shore!

DOWN WIND FOILING
Motor further offshore to line up longer runs and conserve energy! With added thrust, run smaller, faster wings and link sections with the security of the motor if you fall. If conditions change or you miss your mark, no need to paddle back to shore.

SUP SURF FOILING
Traverse to isolated areas or further out for longer runs, link waves and boost back to the line-up in no time. You'll catch more waves than you can manage, and get out for epic sessions in conditions that aren't traditionally worth a look!

FLAT WATER FOIL DRIVING (Efoil) 
The Assist enables you to fly around on flat water! Re-use your existing gear and fit the Foil Drive™ for learning, teaching, practice or just cruising around on flat water!

As some brands have tapered masts, please note that pods are pre-designed to fit either at the upper or lower side of the masts. Tapered masts require:

• Upper Pod for Foil Assist
• Lower Pod for E-Foil

If your mast is tapered, be sure to let us know which option you require.

MORE FLEXIBILITY WITH BATTERY PACKS:
The Assist PLus enables you to swap out the large 12.6ah battery for a lighter one (for mor advanced riding), or carry a spare!

Grab another battery for when the waves keep pumping and you've got a little more to give! Paddle or motor back to the beach, grab a sip of water, refresh the zink, plug a fresh battery in and get back out there for round 2.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL:
Want to take your Foil Drive Assist PLUS on holidays with you? With the Small 4.2ah batteries, now you can! The Small Battery (120.9wh) is under the 160wh energy limit for airline travel.

When flying on your chosen airline, be sure to contact them well before you fly as you will need prior approval to fly with the Small 4.2ah battery. Most airlines will allow a maximum of 3x spare batteries and generally must be in carry-on luggage. However please confirm with your airline first!

Batteries will need to be below 30% State of Charge (SOC) and have both charge and discharge plugs protected with electrical tape with each battery in its lipo bag for protection. (This advice is generic and must be confirmed with your airline. DG rules are taken extremely seriously
and must not be broken.)

Grab one of our Small Battery Parallel Y Leads to join 2x Small 4.2ah Batteries together in order to create the capacity and run time of the Medium 8.4ah battery. This is perfect for traveling!
