FEELING
Balanced, intuitive ride perfect for daily riding and varitry of conditions.
CONSTRUCTION
Full Sandwich: Available in the 105L size, delivering maximum stiffness, durability, and lightweight performance. 20% lighter and considerably stronger than standard carbon construction. Extra-lightweight EPS core wrapped in a full carbon high-density exo-skeleton. Full biaxial and unidirectional carbon high-density sandwich.
Dual Fusion Core: Available in 110–135L sizes, balancing weight and durability. 10–15% lighter and stronger than previous builds, with a more responsive feel. Biaxial Carbon with Unidirectional carbon patching, and glass reinforcements throughout. Balance of stiffness and strength.
DESCRIPTION
Built for downwind, parawing, wing and for versatility across surf, open ocean swells, rivers, and lakes.
With a precisely optimized rocker, 18.75” width across all sizes, and refined over dozens of prototypes, V3 delivers increased glide, stability, and speed in both open-water and inland conditions.
Inspired by our big wave gun contours, and redesigned nose to tail volume distribution across a flatter displacement hull enhances acceleration, smooth takeoffs, and control in choppy waters, crosswind conditions, and mixed swell. The Dragonfly 3 is built for downwind foiling, lightwind winging, surf foiling, and parawinging, making it a true daily driver for foilers seeking versatility in a variety of conditions.
SPEED
Refined low-end acceleration from the double displacement hull allows riders to ride narrower boards with more stability than before, while maintaining high top-end speed—creating a versatile performer in all conditions.
SHAPE
Disciplines: Its new shape benefits all disciplines, Short period river or lake runs, Messy open occean eddies, Parawing, Light-wind wing, or everyday Sup.
Stability: The consistent 18.75” width provides excellent directional stability across a range of conditions, with improved tracking and control compared to previous wider or flatter designs.
Takeoff: Effective for both “bounce and glide” takeoffs in smaller waves, while also offering higher paddling speeds in longer period open water.
HIGHLIGHTS - Function and form.
- Bottom - Ginxu Double Displacement Hull Flatter displacement hull with subtle double concave creates an ideal balance between stability, acceleration and top-end glide.
- Rocker - Precisely engineered by Keith Teboul, Kane de Wilde, and Adam Lewis for optimal entry angle and subtletail rocker to ensure a balanced, even footed feel, both in the water and in the air. Consistent performance across all sizes.
- Outline - Uniform 18.75” width across all sizes, refined through extensive testing as the optimal all-around width for versatility Balanced length-to-width ratio offers stability and precise maneuverability across a range of conditions. Consistent platform that balances glide, control, and responsiveness Standardized width simply allows riders to focus on length selection based on weight and skill level.
- Rails - Almond-shaped rails through the nose transition to boxier rails at the standing area for control and responsive direction changes.
- Nose - Foiled aero arrow nose reduces windage and improves cross & upwind capability. More even volume distribution between nose and tail than previous generations.
- Tail - Tri-plane tail with soft rails transitioning into an aerodynamic tail shape Enhances water release and flow over the tail in choppy conditions.
PADS
Single Density Flat Cord Pads, redesigned from the ground up, provide grip and comfort. An optimized layout means you have the right support and cushioning where you need it whilst saving weight and minimizing drag.
FINISH
Ultralight Marble finish, a high-durability, ultra-thin paint finish that is lighter, stronger, and enhances sealing.
