A high performance surf style foil built for speed, explosive maneuverability, lively re pop on jumps, and impressive control even at high speeds. It’s designed to feel fast, loose, and reactive.
The Halo hits that magic 8 aspect ratio as a fast, surf- and freestyle oriented frontwing series built for predictable, instant rebound after landings or tip breaches. It stays stable and confidence inspiring at speed while offering smooth, reliable lowend and stall behavior. Compared to the Nomad, the Halo sits at the opposite end of the surf, freestyle, tow, and downwind spectrum. It gives up a bit of lowend lift in exchange for significantly more topend speed, reduced drag, and a looser, more surfinspired feel through turns, whitewash, and freestyle maneuvers. Sizing runs roughly 15% larger than the Nomad for a similar lowend comparison. This lets the Halo use a thinner, faster section to unlock speed and glide while keeping the span compact for stiffness, aggressive turning, and dependable control at high speeds and in turbulent water.

Geometry
The Halo uses a thinner, performance-oriented section with moderate camber, tuned for speed, efficiency, and clean release. The aspect ratio is optimized to keep the span compact while still allowing the foil to carry speed effortlessly through turns and shed air instantly after jumping, sliding, or breaching. Refined tip geometry minimizes ventilation and keeps the foil connected when carving hard or breaking the surface.
Performance
The Halo is designed to reward an active riding style. It accelerates quickly, stays incredibly stable at speed, and remains predictable when driven into steeper sections or freestyle maneuvers. Big boosts and tip breaches recover cleanly, letting riders stay fully committed through turns, jumps, and turbulent sections without the foil ever feeling unsettled.
Efficiency
Halo favors speed and glide over pure lowspeed lift. The reduced drag from its thinner section helps it hold momentum effortlessly between sections and through turns. This efficiency becomes even more noticeable at higher speeds, where Halo feels smoother, cleaner, and far less draggy than higherliftoriented surf foils.
Agility
The Halo is our most maneuverable design yet, reacting instantly to rider input. It rolls from rail to rail like a snowboard and stays lively through tight arcs, whitewater, and freestyle moves. Halo is built with blend of select carbon fibers, tuned for maximum stiffness, aggressive landings, and longterm durability. The layup prioritizes torsional rigidity for precise control while keeping overall weight low. The result is a wing that feels lively under load, responds instantly to input, and holds its shape at speed.

The Atom Surf Tail is Kane’s favorite maneuverability focused stabilizer, built to bring surf style control, confidence, and responsiveness to any foil setup. It’s designed for riders who prioritize turning, feel, and adaptability over maximum glide or topend speed. Compared to higher aspect tails like the Pulse, the Atom Surf delivers a more reactive, playful ride while still maintaining strong pitch stability. Its carbon construction lets riders size down the tail without losing lift, reducing drag while keeping control smooth and predictable. The Atom Surf Tail works seamlessly across the entire KT foil range, and with proper shimming and spacing, it can be tuned to pair with other foil systems as well. Riders can dial in lift, balance, and feel based on stance, fuselage length, and frontwing choice, making it a versatile, surf oriented tail that adapts to any setup.

Aluminum fuselages offer an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, providing a stiffer response and a narrower, faster profile. This design enhances rigidity, offering excellent resistance to twisting and bending, which results in a more direct feel, added pop for free-style tricks, and improved control through turbulence.
Our mast, front wing, and tail connections feature optimized cut-outs to minimize weight and drag, while the footprint connection ensures a precise, grooved fit, reducing wear compared to traditional tuttle connections. Anodizing ensures durability and corrosion resistance.The current connection will also accommodate potential future options for carbon fuselages.
