The Foil Drive Assist MAX+ takes everything that the world loved about our most popular foil assist and evolves it into the latest Gen 2.5 class, turning up thrust, runtime, and safety features to unlock autonomy across all foiling disciplines.

Built around the same proven 43V power, tech, and charging architecture of the Fusion, the MAX+ offers our most durable one piece battery design, all while retaining the compact, lightweight and balanced package that made the original MAX so versatile.

Unlock smaller foils, boards, performance, faster take-off, and more time on the water with tilt-safety cut off features that makes this same retrofit kit so family friendly.

The lightweight balance that made MAX the all rounder remains, while everything around it has evolved.

Riders can enjoy a sportier feel without compromising on thrust and boost thanks to the NEW FM+650 Battery (650Wh) and early in 2027 the even smaller, FM+430 Battery.

KEY FEATURES OF THE FM+ 650 BATTERY

• Gen2.5 Battery Technology allows the rider to utilise the battery for longer. The battery is able to perform “deeper” into the cycle, meaning on water you’ll be able to enjoy the full power delivery right down to ~10% battery before you begin to notice the “sag” that all batteries experience.
• Charging 
  The FM+650 Battery requires 43V Charger (Provided with your Fusion or MAX+ System) to charge. Averaging 85 minute charge time with an industry first Storage Mode that allows you to limit charging to then store your batteries for long-term battery health. We recommend storing you battery between 30 and 60% State of Charge (SoC).
• Intelligent Bluetooth Module (BMS) provides accurate battery data to the V3 Controller, giving clear percentage and status readouts. The Battery also connects to the Foil Drive App where you can name each battery, track its health and view it's battery State of Charge (SoC). Check the surf camera and your battery charge without lifting a finger!
• One-piece molded design combines the battery and nose cone as a unified sealed unit.

• Internal thermal management keeps temperature stable and maintains consistent power through the full discharge curve, ensuring smooth thrust delivery from start to finish.

AXIS FOIL DRIVE Foil Assist Integrated Carbon Mast

The Foil Drive Integrated Mast isn’t just an evolution of the aluminium version – it’s the premium expression of what Foil Assist can be. Built from advanced carbon composites in both High Modulus and Ultra High Modulus variants, this system blends strength, efficiency and simplicity into one sleek package. With the Motor Pod positioned 15cm below the baseplate, riders enjoy cleaner hydrodynamics and ample mast length free of drag – creating the smoothest, most intuitive Foil Drive experience yet.

Around the Motor Pod, we’ve expanded the chord and reinforced the cavity with a denser carbon layup, delivering additional torsional strength. Add to that a redesigned baseplate with a slimmer fit to the Foil Drive chassis, and you’ve got an 800mm mast that’s stronger than ever before. With all cables routed inside, the result is a setup that looks clean, rigs fast and feels rock solid under your feet.

This is the premium expression of Foil Assist – a mast that blends AXIS carbon innovation with Foil Drive’s groundbreaking technology.
